Dumbarton Good value

- Jack Crawford

If you had offered us two points from our first two games, we’d have bitten your hand off.

With an injury-hit squad full of new faces, I was concerned heading into games with Morton and Falkirk.

But we have only conceded once in those games and that was a penalty. The defence has been solid and whilst we have ridden our luck slightly we’ve been good value for our points.

Ally Roy opened his Dumbarton account with a superb goal on Saturday. He’s been our best creative player in his first few games with frightening pace and close control. Add a bit of composure in front of goal and you’ve got a great player.
