Railway cat gains celebrity status at city station

A cat who has started to patrol his local railway station has become a social media success story.

The black and white moggy. nicknamed Kyle by passengers, has spent the last year strolling around Glasgow’s Hyndland station.

He now has his own Twitter page set up by an anonymous fan, with daily posts on his adventures in the area.

A poll has also called for him to be renamed the Cat controller.

A Scotrail Alliance spokespers­on said: “We’re pleased there’s a security ‘cat-rol’ taking place at all hours of the day.”
