Bid to reinstate burned-out A9 lay-by food van

A fund-raising campaign has been launched to help a woman re-establish her roadside food van destroyed in a fire.

It aims to raise £2,000 to help Karen Young re-open her popular food stop at a lay-by off the A9 Invernessthurso road, near Cromarty Bridge

Firefighters extinguished the blaze following a 999 call last Monday.

A joint investigation has yet to determine how the fire began.
