Arrest after drugs worth £ 6,500 seized

Drugs worth about £ 6,500 have been seized in Inverness after police activity in the city centre.

Officers said that herbal cannabis and cannabis resin were recovered on Saturday morning.

A 30- year-old man has been arrested and will appearat Inverness Sheriff Court in due course.

Detective Sergeant Greig Fraser said :“We are committed to targeting the trade in controlled drugs.”
