Russians face trial over £2m theft plot

Two Russians accused of taking part in a cyber plot to steal £2 million from UK banks are to go on trial.

Vugar Mollachiev, 36, and Abdurahman Bazaev, 28, both of Berkeley Gardens in Enfield, north London, will be tried at Southwark Crown Court.

The trial is set to last for up to two weeks and began yesterday. The pair earlier pleaded not guilty to conspiracy to defraud and not guilty to a charge of concealing, converting, transferring or removing criminal property from England and Wales.
