Man, 54, seriously hurt in hit-and-run

A 54-year-old pedestrian has been seriously injured after being hit by a driver who had been pursued by police for failing to pull over.

The hit-and-run incident, which is being treated as attempted murder, happened in Livingston at about 4:15pm on Monday when the unmarked police car signalled to a red Citroen C3 to stop on Ladywell Road.
