Hamilton Accies Vital equaliser
The Premiership reminds me of the old joke about running away from a lion; you only need to be faster than the slowest person to survive. So it is with the league and we have made a really good start. We got plaudits aplenty for the wins over Dundee and Hibs but that late equaliser by Ali Crawford was hugely valuable in that it also denied Killie their first home win of the season. The psychological boost to us and damage to them is hugely important.
We now get to rest while our next opponents, Celtic, will have had players involved in World Cup ties and will also be planning for their forthcoming Champions League tie against PSG. So you never know, maybe we’ll be able to catch them out a week on Friday, especially if we can strengthen a wee bit.
