Rangers Show-stopper Morelos

That was much better this week – and again Alfredo Morelos stole the show with his double. He is excellent and looks well worth the £1 million outlay. The way he uses his body to hold the ball up and how strong he is reminds me of Jean-claude Darcheville, but he is more of a penalty-box player than Darcheville ever was.

It was a massive victory even at this early stage and with other teams dropping points at home it was vital we got the points. It’s just unfortunate that the international break is coming because we could have been doing with the Dundee game this weekend to build some momentum.

The window shuts on Thursday; I hope we can add three players to the squad: a defender for cover, a left midfielder and a striker.
