Hibernian Foiled by Bain

I expected a positive reaction after last week’s loss to Hamilton, and wasn’t disappointed. We didn’t get the victory our dominance merited, but following a superb goalkeeping display by Scott Bain, Hibs had to settle for a point.

Several Hibs players are selected for international duty. One of them, John Mcginn, is still with Hibs at the time of writing and the hope is that he will remain so when the transfer window closes. However, if we receive an offer the club feels unable to refuse (rather than the insulting bid from Nottingham Forest), he would leave with the thanks and best wishes of the supporters, and in the knowledge that his transfer fee would be used to strengthen the squad for the future.
