Ross County Beat the odds
If it wasn’t already apparent before the weekend, the stakes have been raised this season. With Motherwell putting one over Hearts, Hamilton securing a point from two goals down and Partick Thistle giving Aberdeen a fright, Ross County can’t rely on other teams having a poor season.
The Staggies really must improve on their home form and need to be able to pick up points even when the odds are against it. Sunday’s visit of Rangers was a perfect opportunity to put down a marker, but County played within their shell and it was game over by half-time. County go into the international break knowing that they need to take more points at home. Partick Thistle on 9 September is now a real acid test.
