How to get involved in Sleep in the Park

-

Individuals and companies can sign up from today to support Sleep in the Park.

A minimum donation of £100 is needed for anyone to participate in the sleep-out and watch the performances by Liam Gallagher, Amy Macdonald, Deacon Blue and Frightened Rabbit.

The first 3,500 people to pledge £1,000 will get access to the “inner circle” at the Ross Bandstand, which will offer the best view of the performances. They are also promised “a bedtime story from John Cleese” specially written for the event, plus a morning bacon roll, which Rob Brydon will be serving up with the help of Scottish Government ministers.

The top ten individual fundraisers will also be presented with a personal Christmas hamper by First Minister Nicola Sturgeon and will get the chance to meet Sir Bob Geldof at the event, while the leading fundraiser will also be able to meet one of the musical acts.

Corporate teams must commit £3,000 for five places at Sleep in the Park. This will include seats at a lunch earlier in the day which is being created by Michelin-starred chef Martin Wishart and will also feature a Q&A session with Cleese and Brydon.
