Dumbarton Morrison’s mission

Is it too early to start panicking? After shipping four goals at home and looking toothless in attack, then it might not be. Giving a team like Dunfermline a two-goal start will never end well. They looked good and saw out the win without having to step out of first gear.

Stevie Aitken has brought in a striker with the signing of Gregor Morrison from Ross County. He scored 15 goals for the Under-20 Champions last season and on paper looks to be a good signing. We have the players to set up the goals – let’s hope he can score them.

We take a step into the unknown on Saturday with the visit of Connah’s Quay Nomads in the Irn-bru Cup. Hopefully it can be a morale booster before a tricky league spell.
