New iphone likely at Apple event

Technology giant Apple is expected to announce its next iphone at a live event on 12 September. The event will be the first to take place in the new Steve Jobs Theatre, named after the firm’s late co-founder.

Apple is likely to use the event to unveil up to three new iphone handsets, including a special edition one to mark the device’s tenth anniversary.

A third generation of the Apple Watch and a 4K-supporting Apple TV are also rumoured to be among the upcoming announcements.
