Concern over missing man sparks appeal

-

Police have stepped up their appeal for a man who went missing from a hospital eight weeks ago.

Officers say they are “extremely concerned” about Gordon Wilson, 47, from Irvine, North Ayrshire.

He was last seen at about 9am on 2 July, when he left a ward in the town’s Woodview Hospital to go for a walk.

Mr Wilson is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, with slim build and thinning, shoulder-length greying hair. When last seen he was wearing blue jeans, a blue hooded jumper and grey trainers with white soles.
