Director at RBS to leave board

Royal Bank of Scotland yesterday said that non-executive director John Hughes, a former UK head of banking for KMPG, is stepping down from the board due to ill health just two months after he joined. Chairman Howard Davies said: “He has made a great contribution in his brief tenure and we wish him all the best for the future and a speedy recovery.”
