Tree of Life: Sculpture gifted to college by artist’s widow
Paula Sapietis, widow of Latvian artist Zigfrids Sapietis – known as Zigi – unveils a sculpture by her late husband at Newbattle Abbey College, Dalkeith. Mrs Sapietis untied the Latvian colours on the Tree of Life sculpture.
