Homemade marshmallo­w milkshakes

Who doesn’t love a milkshake? Strawberri­es are still abundant and this is a recipe anyone can crack. Your tantrum-ing teenagers will perform whatever task you set them if they are rewarded with this tasty treat.

Serves three

225g Scottish Perthshire strawberri­es – stalks off strawberry coulis 300ml cold milk 3 large scoops vanilla ice cream whipped cream mini marshmallo­ws

1 Using a blender, add the clean washed strawberri­es (keeping a couple back for an optional garnish), along with the milk and ice cream. Mix until incorporat­ed.

2 Pour into tall chilled glasses and carefully pipe some whipped cream on top.

3 Serve with fun straws, strawberry coulis and as many marshmallo­ws as you can fit on top to decorate.
