Berry misses new Bake Off debut

More than six million viewers tuned in to the new Great British Bake Off on Channel 4 – but it appears Mary Berry was not one of them.

The former Bake Off judge, 82, was quoted as saying that she could not give her opinion on the former BBC show, because she was out.

“Actually, I was at a big dinner so I haven’t seen it,” Berry said, “but I will.”
