Shiver me timbers: Toy pirate ship makes epic sea voyage from Scotland to Scandinavia

Eight-year-old Ollie Ferguson and his five-year-old brother Harry are seen modifying their toy pirate ship ahead of its ocean adventure.

The two boys were delighted after the galleon travelled hundreds of miles across the sea from Scotland to Scandinavia.

The siblings first launched the ship, which was constructed out of Playmobil pieces, from Peterhead, in Aberdeenshire, at the end of May.

It sailed first to Denmark – around 390 miles – where a family sent it on its way. Next it went to Sweden, ending up in a tree, before travelling on to Norway and being found by nature officials.
