May for Labour?
The outstanding candidate for a Scottish Labour Leader is surely Theresa May.
In three short weeks this lady transformed Jeremy Corbyn from someone described, by the majority of his Parliamentary colleagues, as totally unelectable, to a new political messiah.
Yet if we cut him in half, the same old Jeremy, with all his policy uncertainties backed up only by the flimsiest of promises, would remain.
It is almost true to say that May conjured up “the impossible”, and, best of all for Labour, with the current mood in the Conservative Party, she could be available on “a Bosman”!
