Woodford backs Seedrs with £4m

Fund manager Neil Woodford has announced a £4 million investment in equity crowdfunding platform Seedrs.

The investment, which follows on from £6m invested two years ago, will be made through two Woodford-managed funds, Woodford Patient Capital Trust and the Omnis Income and Growth Fund. The investment values Seedrs at £40m.
