Teens detained after boy, 8, knocked down

Two teenagers have been detained by police after an eight-year-old boy was knocked down by a moped.

The collision happened in Cornhill Terrace, Aberdeen, at 4:30pm on Sunday.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Police can confirm that two men aged 18 and 19 have been detained as part of inquiries into the collision involving an eight-year-old boy on 3 September at Cornhill Terrace, Aberdeen. No-one has been charged and inquiries are ongoing.”
