Residents evacuated after church fire
Residents in a block of flats in Dundee were evacuated after a fire broke out in a disused church.
More than 30 firefighters tackled the blaze in the Lochee area of the city on Monday night.
Crews said that six fire engines and a command support unit were sent to the fire on Bright Street.
Confirming that residents were evacuated to ensure their safety, a Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “A jointinvestigationbetween the SFRS and Police Scotland into the cause of the fire will be carried out in due course.”
