Appeal as man, 28, killed after car leaves road

A man was killed when his car left the road in Angus.

The accident, which involved a black BMW, happened on the A935 Montrose to Brechin Road at 3:20pm on Monday.

Police Scotland said the 28-year-old driver, who was from the Brechin area, died at the scene of the incident.

Officers said that his next of kin had been informed.

Crash investigators carried out inquiries to establish the full circumstances of the incident.

Anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact officers at Police Scotland on 101.
