Chopping block: Lego ‘sorry’ after axe falls on 1,400 jobs at toymaker
Lego is cutting 1,400 jobs as part of a company-wide overhaul meant to counter falling sales. The move will effectively cut eight per cent of the iconic Danish toymaker’s 18,200-strong workforce, the majority of whom will be let go bytheendoftheyear.legocurrently employs about 900 staff in the UK.
