Hamilton Accies Bumps and bruises

That was a decent international week for us. Full points taken, no goals conceded and, to be selfish, a nice goal by old Accies favourite James Mcarthur. We’re still in with a chance of another encore of our glorious failure routine, which is all you can hope for at this stage.

Another aspect was that Gordon Strachan based his team heavily on the Celtic squad and their teamwork was clear to see. With any luck, a few of them will be nursing bumps and bruises and won’t fancy taking on the mighty Accies on our plastic on Friday. While any team Celtic want to use at the moment will be stronger than us, it might be that this week we have a slightly better chance than usual. I might be clutching at straws but we’re in a good run of form and will be looking forward to this.
