Hibernian Relief for Lennon

-

It was a successful international week, but for a club manager with players away on duty, I imagine it is a relief when they return home reporting clean bills of health, regardless of results. Hibs men on duty had varying degrees of game time but Neil Lennon will be happy to welcome them all back to prepare for the trip to Perth.

The remarkable job Tommy Wright has done with such limited resources at Mcdiarmid Park can only be admired, but Hibs fans will have happy memories of our last encounter with the Saints when John Mcginn’s goal brought victory in the 2016 League Cup semi-final at Tynecastle. A similar result would be a statement of Hibernian’s potential and ambition for the rest of the campaign.
