New appeal for information on remains

Police have renewed an appeal for information on human remains found in a Fife forest.

A member of the public made the discovery in Devilla forest near Kincardine, Fife, at around midday on Sunday.

The person, believed to be male, was wearing outdoor clothing and walking shoes.

Police are treating the death as unexplained.

A post-mortem examination of the remains has still to be carried out.

Those who have information are asked to contact officers at Police Scotland on 101.
