Queen of the South Divided opinions

Queens continued their early season momentum with a comfortable 5-0 win over Berwick Rangers in the Challenge Cup. It is a competition that always splits opinion amongst supporters. Even more so after the raft of changes that were made last season, including the controversial decision to involve “Colt” teams.

Whilst I am keen for us to keep up our good record in this competition, I was also pleased Gary Naysmith gave some of our fringe players game time. Last season saw an overreliance on certain players leading to a huge dip in form when injuries started to take their toll. We look far better equipped this season, with the manager’s toughest task at the moment keeping everyone happy.
