Inverness Caley Thistle Taking no chances

Last Saturday saw a return trip to Brechin to face Aberdeen Colts, who play their home games there. John Robertson took no chances and a strong team was sent to make sure we reached the next round of the Irn-bru Cup. The big news was the return of fans’ favourite Carl Tremarco. Having been injured for so long it was good to see “Carlo” get a run-out and a goal.

There has been a lot of debate about the inclusion of Colts teams in the competition and attendances suggest that fans are not impressed. What has captured fans’ imagination is the prospect of travel to other parts of the British Isles. I’m very jealous of Elgin going to Wales but a steady home draw against Peterhead for us is not too bad.
