Club bans fans for ‘abusive behaviour’

A number of Inverness Caledonian Thistle fans have been banned from attending home and away matches for the rest of the football season because of “abusive behaviour” during an away game against Brechin City.

Damage was caused to Brechin City’s ground after last month’s game and Inverness chairman Graham Rae said the behaviour had “disgraced the club” . The Highland club has not said how many supporters were banned.
