Building for the future: New post-grad course to focus on conservation

Partners in a new post-graduate course are confident it will fill a gap in practical building conservation training in Scotland. The advanced professional diploma in technical building conservation has been created by Historic Environment Scotland (HES) in conjunction with Forth Valley College. The first cohort of students have just begun their studies. They will be based at The Engine Shed in Stirling. Gordon Urquhart of HES (above, front, with some of the students) said it was the “first programme of its kind”.
