Dulux firm warns over earnings

Dulux owner Akzonobel has issued a profit alert, months after rejecting a multibillion-pound takeover bid by US rival PPG.

The firm said that while full-year earnings would be up on last year, they will be “less than the previously communicated increase of €100 million” (£92m). It is also rolling out a new management structure.
