On your bike: Thousands take part in charity cycle ride

More than 7,000 people set off from Glasgow Green with Edinburgh in their sights as they took part in Pedal for Scotland – the 19th year of Scotland’s biggest bike event.

Scotland’s Minister for Transport Humza Yousaf MSP was at the start line yesterday as many participants were raising money for children and young people affected by poverty by supporting the the STV Children’s Appeal.
