Talk up the plusses

I sensed a frustration in Tommy Wright’s voice after the Hibs match when commenting on the players losing their early confidence and composure.

It is not the first time this season this has happened and it was not down to anything the opposition did to bring about the change. Perhaps it is time to change the team’s mentality without losing sight of what has worked over the last few seasons. Saints have quality and creative players who can change matches. perhaps an emphasis on what they did well offensively when confident and composed may be worth highlighting. Nice reception for Danny Swanson – supporters acknowledging his efforts for Saints. It seemed to stun him.
