Hibernian
Transparency required
Once again, Hibs showed that we are one of the best teams in the league, without actually managing to win at Mcdiarmid Park. Even so, to come back from a goal down and go on to dominate the game should further boost the confidence of players and fans alike. On the field, the atmosphere of positivity remains untroubled.
I don’t have the space here to unravel in any great detail the club’s statement on the issue of the proposed Rangers EBT inquiry. Suffice to say, I would suggest that the general content was disingenuous and the conclusion lacked moral fortitude. In an age when transparency is paramount, the football establishment has closed ranks to bury the past. Sadly, Hibernian FC is now complicit in that process.
