Police appeal after ‘unusual’ thefts on Skye

Police in Skye are appealing for information after thefts from two food outlets in Portree.

Entry was forced to The Chippy and Taste of India on Quay Street in the town overnight between 9pm on Monday into Tuesday. Quantities of cash were stolen from both businesses. Detective Constable Shonagh Laing said: “These are unusual incidents for Portree and we are appealing for information.”
