Accountancy firm Campbell Dallas has reported a doubledigit jump in turnover in its latest financial year.

The Renfrew-based practice saw turnover rise by 17 per cent to £14 million in the year to the end of May on the back of strong performances from its corporate finance, restruc- turing, tax and family business divisions.

The practice has also been one of the most active as consolidation has continued across the sector.

In the last year it has acquired Kilmarnock-based White & Co and Perth-based Bell & Company.

Managing partner Chris Horne said that the growth was in line with expectations as the business continued to work to a five-year growth plan.

“It is very encouraging that over 80 per cent of our growth has been organic. The acquisitions should make a very positive impact next year,” he said.

“We have made significant progress developing the business and creating an exciting and rewarding environment for our staff. The next five years hold great promise as we look to expand our client base and reach across Scotland.”

During the year the firm invested nearly £2m in its IT systems, offices and development of staff, including a £500,000 commitment to the recruitment and training of apprentices. The company also raised £50,000 for charity through the Campbell Dallas Foundation. 0 ‘Significant progress’ – managing partner Chris Horne
