Interserve shares rocked by warning

Shares in Interserve tumbled after the support services and construction firm warned over profits.

It said poor trading and growing costs linked to exiting “energy from waste” contracts were likely to exceed the £160 million it had already provisioned for. Trading in the UK was “disappointing”.
