App unveiled to help firms keep on top of invoices

A new invoicing app for small businesses has been launched by izettle, the Swedish group which acquired Edinburgh software firm Intelligentpos last year.

Izettle, which provides services such as card payment handling and funding to small firms, said the facility would help business get paid quicker and keep on top of outstanding debts.

Since acquiring Intelligentpos, izettle has almost tripled the head count of the Scottish operation and moved to bigger offices. The firm bought the business in September for an undisclosed sum in a move to boost its commerce offering for small businesses and become a “one-stop shop” for the sector.
