Body in forest is identified

The body of a man was found by members of the public in the Devilla Forest area of Kincardine has been identified.

Police say inquiries have established that the man was a 26-year-old, originally from the Tees Valley area of England, who lived in Dunfermline.

The man, who has not been named, was last seen on Thursday 17 August wearing outdoor clothing, including walking shoes.

The death remains unexplained pending further forensic inquiries.
