Dundee Short straw

“Anybody but Celtic” prayed seven sets of supporters as the quarter-final draw was made live on TV. Unfortunately for a team who haven’t had a Hampden trip for more than a decade and haven’t beaten Celtic at Dens since the end of the Cold War, it was Dundee who drew the short straw.

We’ve still not kept a clean sheet this season, and that hardly bodes well against a team like Celtic.

It will be interesting to see if Neil Mccann decides to stick with the balanced team that finally gained three points at the weekend.

Although it’s something of a relief for my blood pressure to already be 99 per cent sure that we’re out of the cup, it’s that tiny sliver of hope that kills you.
