Hamilton Accies Classy Templeton

-

Maybe it’s a measure of our progress, but I thought Hearts were really fortunate to win on Saturday. They caught us cold with an early goal then benefited from a ropey penalty decision. After that we were the better team and were rarely threatened. David Templeton again showed his class and, had he not been fouled so often, would have led us to at least a point.

In Bobby Madden, we had another display of refereeing ineptitude, with cautions not being given for an assortment of fouls and dives, particularly by the over-rated Jamie Walker. However, we need to move on and travel to play St Johnstone this week. We’re still doing OK in the league but need to be more lethal up front. Maybe our proposed new striker, Antonio Rojano, will finally arrive and make a difference.
