£635k boost for Jim Clark museum project
A museum which tells the life and racing career of double Formula One champion Jim Clark is to be redeveloped after the project won nearly £635,000 of National Lottery funding.
The funding means that a £1.6 million bid to deliver an improved Duns Formula One museum can now go ahead, transforming the current exhibition space. Designs put together by architects at Scottish Borders Council will see the current exhibition space expanded to accommodate race memorabilia, including two of Clark’s own cars.
