Sturgeon supports pool revamp bid

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon is lending her support to the final phase of efforts to redevelop Govanhill Baths in Glasgow.

The Govanhill Baths Community Trust is hoping to raise £300,000 from a community share issue, allowing people to invest in the future of the Edwardian bath house and swimming pools.

Ms Sturgeon will launch the share issue at an event today in the empty swimming pool in Calder Street.
