Call for joint Stirlingshire development to go ahead
Two Scottish businesses working to deliver 600 homes and a £20 millionplus national dairy centre say they see their joint project supporting Scotland’s renewed economic vision as they await a decision from Holyrood on their application to proceed.
Graham’s the Family Dairy and Mactaggart & Mickel Homes claim their plans for a site in Stirlingshire “would help alleviate Scotland’s housing shortfall, whilst also giving Scotland’s dairy industry a significant helping hand”, creating 400 jobs as well as 350 during the construction phase.
Robertgraham, themanaging director of Graham’s the Family Dairy, said that the joint application “is about investing in people, homes, research, education and infrastructure to strengthen the Scottish economy.”
He added: “We know the massive benefits this proposal would deliver not only to Stirling but to Scotland as a whole and are hopeful that a positive decision on the application will be made.”
