St Mirren Morgan the Mighty

A bit of character pulled the Buddies through to a 3-1 victory against Queen of the South as part of Sunday’s 4:10pm kick-off (obviously not scheduled with the supporters in mind, as shown by the small attendance).

Bouncing back from the Dunfermline defeat was important, but the only shining light in the game was Lewis Morgan, who scored two stunning goals. He must be running out of space to keep the Champagne bottles from his man-ofthe-match performances.

Consistency seems to be the issue, but this could be put down to injuries, with two of our best players – Harry Davis and Kyle Magennis – having not played all season. Hopefully there are no slip-ups against Brechin on Saturday.
