Man jailed for eight years over sex offences

A man has been sentenced for a number of sexual offences committed in Stirlingshire.

Peter Watson, aged 69, was found guilty of the rape and sexual abuse of three females between 1978 and 1992.

Watson was convicted at The High Court in Glasgow on 1 September for four offences, including one count of rape and sexual assault. He has been sentenced to eight years and three months in prison.
