Is Ruth Davidson on track to become the next Tory leader?

Seems unlikely - no Westminster or UK ministerial experience. Plus the Conservatives are notorious for their cliques - even Margaret Thatcher was looked down upon as too provincial by some of the party grandees. Still if she can win elections .....

Good grief! She’s not even a bloody MP and, unless I missed something, that’s a requirement for Tory leader, let alone the PM. I suspect that the self regarding egotist Ruthie is behind this drivel herself.

It just goes to show how the Conservative and Unionists Party are so out of touch to even consider the possibility! If she is the next Prime Minister she will actually have to come up with policies that, so far, as the Opposition in the Scottish Parliament she has failed.

The core shire Tories, who are homoph obicracists, arenever going to accept her particular demographic 1 She is a Scot (not one of us) 2 She doesn’t have a husband (one of them) 3 She is a one trick pony (SNP bad) who would crash and burn within 3 minutes of being in charge of this nest of vipers.
