Four convicted over abduction

Four men were yesterday convicted at Edinburgh High Court of the abduction and assault of a man in the capital.

Hooman Sojoodi, now 22, Arnold Nuta Mukueto, now 23, Sanchez Facey, 23, and Glen Elamo, 20, were found guilty of abduction and assault to serious injury, which took place in February of this year.

The men abducted a now 27-year-old man from an address in the Hyvots area, and drove to the Buckstone Road area where he was able to escape from the boot of the car.
